Quantum Cotton Flannel (20"x59") and Castor Oil Pack
For centuries, castor oil packs have been used as simple, soothing seft-care ritual. When warm castor oil meet Quantum Cotton flannel the combination is thought to support circulation, relaxation, and your body's natural cleansing process - right from the comfort of home*
- Cut your Quantum Cotton Flannel. Cut to size to match the body part (small pieces for the neck or wrist; larger pieces for the abdomen or kidneys). These will be your pack layers. These will be your pack layers
- Prep your plastic sheet. Cut a plastic sheet slightly larger than your flannel. This protects your heating pad from oil.
Tip: avoid printed plastic grocery bags-the ink can dissolve in castor oil. - Saturate with castor oil. Lay your flannel on top of the plastic sheet and apply 1 tablespoon of castor oil. The cloth should feel well-saturated but not dripping. Place the flannel side directly on you skin, with the plastic sheet facing up.
- Apply gentle heat. Place your heating pad over the plastic sheet on a low or medium setting. Relax for 30-60 minutes. A bath towel laid over the top helps hold in warmth.
- Support your body after. After your session, take 1/2 tsp of Fermented Gallbladder-PGTM in 1/4 cup of water. This helps gently support the body as it clears what the pack have released*.
- Cleanse the skin. Wipe the area with a warm washcloth and a small amount of soap to clear any residue.
- Use 2-3 times per week, 30-60minutes per session, for 3-6 weeks or longer
- Skip a day between sessions rather than using on consecutive days
- New to castor oil packs? Start with 15-30 minutes every day and build from there
- Each pack is single-use-discard after your session

- Castor oil (about 1 tablespoon)
- A plastic sheet or garbage bag
- A heating pad (dry heat only)
- A bath towel
We also use nitrogen or argon flushes on many products to remove oxygen from their storage containers, extending the shelf-life. We also add moisture desiccants to keep the product dry.
